EXTRA MILE MINISTRIES
Believing that the world has been changed forever and the need for crisis training is imperative, Extra Mile Ministries offer a spiritual guide for dealing with trauma, tragedy and crisis. Realizing that many believers don't know how to help someone in need, and the impulse is to walk on by, they will train and equip anyone wanting to know what to say and what to do in a crisis situation.
Chaplain Ralph Buchhorn began the Extra Mile Ministries September 2001 as a Pacific Southwest District Missionary. He also serves as chaplain with the FBI Western Region Crisis Response Team.
The mission of Lutherans in Medical Missions is to assist the Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod in its healing ministry by linking qualified health professionals to global medical mission needs.
