LIMM Bequest

Dear Friends,

LIMM can be named in your bequest from any financial asset that has a death beneficiary feature such as a life insurance policy.

When making a bequest from any financial asset that has a death beneficiary feature (such as a life insurance policy) please consider naming LIMM to receive a fraction of that reward. A number of year’s ago, LIMM received a tithe of such an estate and it has been a lifeline for the organization and allowed for the funding of many projects over the years. Our legal name is Lutherans in Medical Missions and our tax ID number is 43-1699294. This is all you need to complete a change of beneficiary form from an insurance company. Other accounts that may be used for bequest gifts are 401(k) employer retirement plans; 403(b) employer retirement plans (think Fidelity or TIAA/CREF plans); individual retirement accounts of all stripes, such as Roth, traditional, SEP, and SIMPLE; commercial annuities; checking and savings accounts; and brokerage accounts received. As you review your financial situation and prepare your 2010 income taxes, consider a bequest to LIMM of any size and portion of your estate.

If you have already named LIMM in your will to receive a portion of your estate, then we thank you
