We are excited to announce our first crowdfunding project in cooperation with Wheat Ridge Ministries. In June 2015, two registered nurses will travel to Seine Bight, Belize as part of a mission team from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Belvidere, IL.
They will teach and train children, young adults and others to recognize the signs and symptoms of diabetes, stressing the benefits of a healthy lifestyle in its prevention and treatment. The audience will then teach and share with their classmates, families and neighbors what they have learned. Students become teachers and the whole community is blessed! They will also gather with those who have expressed a desire to learn more about coping with end of life issues; laying a foundation of dialogue and teaching that future mission teams to Seine Bight will build upon.

1. On the project page, click the green “contribute” button on the right hand side.
2. On the next screen (right-hand side) you may create an account or click on “continue as guest”
3. On the next screen, enter how much you’d like to contribute, and, if applicable, choose the reward you would like to receive. You’ll also enter your address which will be used for your tax deductible receipt and, if applicable, to mail any perks. Click the blue “Continue” button
4. You will be redirected to WePay. As a secure payment channel, it will enable you to pre-authorize the payment. Once finished, you will be directed back to WeRaise and will receive a confirmation email.
