Through the support of LIMM, Steve and Toni Hayes traveled to Thailand in July 2011. Below is a note from Toni regarding their work with the Community Health Education (CHE) program:
Steve & I returned from working in Thailand. We used the CHE model to teach health education to individuals selected by the community to be health leaders. We taught blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose monitoring, wound care, suture removal and reading a thermometer (glass made without mercury). We feel so blessed to know these amazing people!
