LIMM provided the funds for Tantley Andriatahiana, a nurse at the Lutheran Hospital in Antsirabe, Madagascar, to attend the 2016 Study Tour for Lutheran Parish Nurses International, in Brazil. Tantley desires to study parish nursing so he can better serve the Lord, his church, the hospital and his coworkers.
Marcy Schnorr, R.N., Ed.D. Coordinator, Parish Nursing, LCMS Health Ministries, stated that “Tantley has shared that he really appreciated the assistance that LIMM was able to provide through the travel grant. Participating in the study tour to Brazil introduced him to parish nursing and has made him eager to introduce parish nursing to his colleagues at the Lutheran Hospital in Antsirabe.”
