Laparoscopic Equipment Donation

Dr. K Joel Nesaraj, Director of the Bethesda Hospital, Ambur, India, reports that  a laparoscope was purchased from Germany on receipt of a major gift given through LIMM. The first laparoscopic cholecystectomy has already been done by the Head of the Department of Surgery, Dr. John Maria Francis. The equipment was dedicated to the glory of God  by Rev. Pastor Udayanesan Raji, former Chaplain of Bethesda Hospital and now  Staff Chaplain,Spiritual Care and Chaplaincy Services, Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
 
"We have no words to express the happiness, joy, gratitude and thanks for the wonderful gift that was donated generously and wholeheartedly completely bearing the full cost of the equipment. It is a great boon to our hospital, our surgeons and also to the patients of Ambur community," stated Dr. Nesaraj.
Lutherans in Medical Missions is thankful to have facilitated the use of this major gift by one of our donors.
