LIMM is now accepting new grant requests. Please make sure your proposal meets our focus and mission, and that it will further our goals and extend the ministry of the Gospel. The goal of this grant is to make known the love of Christ in word and deed by working with local and global partners to share Christ’s healing in medically underserved communities:
- Projects should have a mission emphasis; used to improve quality of life/health.
- Link health professionals & other committed workers with those in need.
- Network with medical mission sending agencies.
- Educate people about the potential for opportunities for involvement in health and healing ministries. LIMM promotes Community Health Education (CHE).
A grant request may not exceed $10,000 per year. Ninety percent of the grant money should be used for programs. Funds will be awarded as available.
Grants may only be extended to faith-based organizations, with preference to Lutheran partners.
Preference will be given to organizations requesting assistance for projects regarding underserved or under- represented populations, either domestic or abroad.
